Tia William did an excellent job in capturing the reader in this book. Any woman that reads a magazines will have a connection with the main character. The author's ability to bring such interesting and vibrant characters to life, will keep the readers wanting more. I have to admit the story started off slow in the first couple of pages, but after the first chapter it took off rather nicely.

The novel also touched on sensitive contemporary issues like balancing career and romance --- which is more important to today's "Independent Woman" The witty/trendy dialogue was absolutely great and painfully real -- very a la moment and the sex scenes in this book was great and not overbearing, it is just enough to feel the words on the page! I also love the flashbacks and plot twists --- the author could not have written a better ending for this book

"The Accidental Diva" is very refreshing diversion/departure from the typical Black Lit which focuses on race betrayal, baby daddies, and cheating men. Could not have wished for a better novel from her. Looking forward for more of her work.
