What do you do when you are stuck in a bad relationship then fate steps in and gives you the person you are meant to be with? Brody is in a very bad marriage when he meets KC and it's literally love at first sight. They enter into a relationship with their eyes wide open, even though he is still married. The good: it's really a beautiful love story, Brody and KC are likeable, and you really do feel bad about their predicament. The bad: some of the characters are over the top evil and some of the circumstances are way beyond believable (KC starts a business without her family finding her, Brody's family has evidence against his wife for years, but doesn't force him to listen). If you suspend reality, you will enjoy this read.
