I have to say I almost stopped reading this book after the first chapter or two. The sentence structure was terrible and incomplete and were just random thoughts and I didn't understand what was happening. After a while it got better though. I didn't really enjoy the story though and felt it to be too slow.
Nathan is half White Witch and half Black Witch. He gets tormented by white witches all the time and lives with them as well (though only one doesn't like him). Supposedly his dad is the most hated and feared black witch ever. He wants to meet him, but he doesn't dare to say a word about that. We know he is being tortured. It just seems like things move from scene to scene in strange unexplained ways while reading this book to try to get the plot going, but it doesn't seem to work while reading it. I really wanted to enjoy this book. I don't remember why I put it on my to-read list either. I am sure many people like it but I don't think I'll want to read the rest of the series (which is not like me).
