Book Review of Dead But Not Forgotten: Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse

A handful of these stories are good on their own but most are, at best, a nostalgic revisiting of secondary or tertiary characters from the Sookie Stackhouse world. My favorite would be the Dana Cameron story with Pam as the protagonist. Pam always rocks, and Cameron celebrated her in the best way possible. MaryJanice Davidson, who is a gifted humorist, unexpectedly provided a somber Eric tale which was an excellent coda to the series as a whole. Worth reading if you're a big fan of Charlaine Harris' series but I'm not sure if it's must-reading for anyone else.
