Jack Reacher is like a sociopathic Spenser for Hire. He has no friends, and no relationships. What he does have is a genius level ability to work with numbers, and strategy. He is also so strong his pectoral muscles are a built-in bullet-proof vest, and he can kill a man with his elbow. In this episode, Reacher seeks revenge on a man long-thought dead. He teams up with the DEA to infiltrate a crime syndicate in order to get close to its leader, the resurrected Quinn. His laser-like focus on his goal, to kill Quinn gives him the ability to withstand cold, and invicibility in hand-to-hand combat. The pacing in the 2nd half of the book is off, and at one point it becomes a bit tedious. But it picks up at the end, when everyone bad gets it.
