The reviews in Amazon are all over the place on this book, and the book was as well. I'll say right up front that I did finish it, and I did like it. Did I like everything in the book? No way; it didn't always make sense. The story is about Adrian, the 'head' angel, and Lindsay, the 'head' vampire's daughter. Well, not Lindsay's body, but the soul inside her that keeps getting reincarnated.
First of all, I never really understood why she kept getting reborn. Second; through almost the whole book, Lindsay thought one thing for absolutely sure, she will kill the female vampire that killed her mother. So as not to give any of that part away, it's towards the end of the book. Let me know what you think in your reviews because I have no idea what happened. However, questions were not answered. Third; Adrian and Lindsay have a serious emotional and physical relationship which is against all the rules. When another angel did the exact same thing, he went after them to put a stop to it. Fourth; at one point she ran away from him because he would be doomed to hell, or whatever, if they stayed together. She was gone for maybe a couple of hours, he calls and she picks up the phone. In two weeks time she was back there and they were all over each other again. Fifth; a battle broke out at one point and there didn't seem to be a reason like one guy walked up and punched another guy in the face. One second they were all just standing there, and the next they were killing each other.
I liked the lycans and vampires far better than the angels. Understand, there was some good parts to the book or I would have never finished it. There were also many times I scrunched my eyebrows together and said, "Huh?"
