I thought this book was going to be about a sweet little old lady with a cat in a bookstore. But it was about a young hip woman in her 30s in a bookstore with a cranky cat! Maggie has a library degree but followed her best friend to California to work in the tech world of internet startups. And that is where she spent ten years until being laid off and trying to figure out her next step. She thinks she wants back into the tech world but she starts to hang out in the local UBS. Then works there, then becomes a co-owner. And there is a little romance thrown in. And a mysterious copy of Lady Chatterly's Lover with lots of handwritten notes. And then add all the quirky characters that work and hang out in the bookstore. I loved Maggie and all the characters, liked the story, liked the ending. Overall a very satisfying read.
