In the past I never bothered with medieval or historical fiction of any kind. But this author won my heart with her first (book and) series as Leisha Kelly (1-Julia's Hope, 2-Emma's Gift, and 3-Katie's Dream).
When Tahn came to hand - I had to check it out. Wow! It gripped me and I had to finish it. I've already ordered the next in this series of three books. (Or are there more? I hope.) It's a wonderful story with all sorts of drama, and the underlying theme (it seems of all the L.A.Kelly books) of the unfailing love of God for all.
To me it was fiction that led to much more for me. A challenge to my own life and heart. I recommend this book highly for the excellent use of words, the 'real' characters, and the underlying message which does not interfere in the slightest with the wonderful story.
