I am fascinated by the 'secret' aspects of wars, especially World War II. In fact, I have more than one bookshelf full of books on this subject. When you realize how much the secret operations of wars changed history, you can't read enough about it.

One of the most important aspect of '"secret warfare" was the code breakers. When you understand that army or theater commanders on both sides often had the enemies plans before the enemy's armies did, you begin to understand why things turned out the way they did.

I just finished reading this book and it will join the others in my library. However, I wish this book had been available decades ago, as it is so important to code-breaking history, and allows you to understand what happened and why.

There were thousands of people working on breaking codes for the United States in World War II and over 70% of them were women, most right out of college. Due to the efforts of these women, most of the outcome of important events in World War II ended in our favor. Thank you ladies !!!!

It also helps that the author wrote such a detailed book in an easy-to-read manner.
