This is an interesting near-future cyber thriller and Stoss is an excellent wordsmith, creating a world filled with detail and interesting characters. The one drawback is that the entire novel is written in second person, almost as if someone dared him to write a book with this most unusual point of view -- all three major characters are "you" in the narrative. Once I got past that peculiarity, however, I really enjoyed this story set in an independent Scotland. Recommended.
