Well written analysis of where we're going wrong in American education and upbringing and why the increasing ignorance of anything beyond pop-culture and the world wide web matters to the future not only of individuals, but our nation. This book ought to be read by parents of preteens and teens to help them determine how best to prevent their own progeny from being poster children of "The Dumbest Generation".
