Book Review of The Autobiography of Saint Therese of Lisieux: The Story of a Soul

This book is written by Therese herself in the convent. Her superior, who actually is her older sister, ordered her to write down a summary of her life and this is what came of it.

She only lived to be 24 years old and was known by only a handful of people during her life, most of which were family members and cloistered women. This fact alone expresses the utter remarkable character of Therese because her words and book are famous.

This book is incredible. I have read it multiple times. It changes the way I look at life every time too. She explains faith and love of God in very simple, yet profound ways. I don't think that anyone can walk away from reading this book without being impacted.

I would recommend this book to anyone.
This is also my favorite translation.
