This was something totally different than what I usually read. I did enjoy it - but an interesting take on The Wizard of Oz. Explores the concept of good and evil. Is evil present in all of us - as well as good and it's a "choice" of which one guides us? Or is it a learned trait? Explores the reasons why Elfie (Wicked Witch of the West) was "wicked". Was it the fact that she was born green and had no nuturing as a child? Was it a result of how she was treated growing up? Explores her early childhood and friendships/relationships throughout her life.
