Growing up in the US it is hard to imagine these stories are true. They are all short stories that read as unbelieveable novellas that can't possibly be true, but unfortunately they are. While reading you have to continually remind yourself that these terrible things really happened less than 70 years ago. The world went crazy and people committed unspeakable acts against humanity. Please read this book and pass it on to your children so we can insure these unspeakable crimes against humanity never occur again. It is an easy read as this Scholastic book is geared toward students. For all those that deny the holocaust actually happened I feel sorry for you and your descendents.
