This is the first Jodi Picoult I read, and I was hooked. She has a way of drawing you in, and opening your heart to the pain of others. The same pain that sometimes makes them do horrible things. (not necessarily specific to this book) She will get you thinking about the other side of the story that you may have never considered.
I guess that review is of the author. Still, this is one of my favorite books ever.
