Okay. So I had an idea of what this book was kind of going to be like and I was both right and wrong.
This book is re-telling of Slammed in Will's point of view. However, it flips between his retellings and Lake/Will on their honeymoon. So you get to see Lake's reactions about what he was thinking when he tells about their experiences.
You learn a lot about Will being inside his head and you find out a bunch of little things that are like, "Whaaa!?" It's crazy.
But at the same time, I felt like I was reading Slammed all over again. And maybe its just me, but since I read Slammed, like, two days ago. I wasn't really into reading it again that quickly. You feel me?
So while this book was a great glimpse into Will, I felt like it wasn't really needed since we got his point of view in the second book. Hoover might as well come out with Book #4 with Point of Retreat in Lake's POV. It was just too much for me.
