Sometimes (to me) the romances that begin with the hero and heroine not liking each other start to seem all the same, but this one did not. I liked their repartee and the fact that although they argued, they could both admit that the other had an admirable quality here and there. They are both good, caring people, and I felt they deserved to be happy.
I also quite liked how at first you really think Anthony must be a big jerk the way he talks and treats Kate, but that the reader, along with Kate, begins to see the other side of him and really like him, and he actually does become one of those mythical reformed rakes that in all the romance novels supposedly make the best husbands. :-D
