I am not familiar with the show by this name, so had no idea what to expect from the book, nor did I have any characters in mind. There is only one road in/out of Broadchurch, so the killer had to be someone whom they all know. This book is pure mystery, no gratuitous sex, violence, or language. The characters were real and the mystery had me guessing until the very end. The star rating is always difficult and I waver between a 4 and 5. Book received from goodreads.com contest with expectation of fair review.
