This is a most interesting book. Yes, the villain Lucile was a real top dress designer and did really exist and was on the Titanic with questionable Bribing of the crew, not to take any one else on a boat with 12 people which could have held 50-60.

Tess wants to be a dress designer more than anything but can she work for a woman as unscrupulous as Lucile. Read the book and find out.
