A Light in the Window is an exciting, Christmas romance set in Boston in 1895. It is peopled with a wonderful cast of characters of all ages including young Tillie, from an abusive family situation to elderly Luther, who finds a new sweetheart.

Marceline, the lovely heroine, is as beautiful inside as she is outside. Her desire is to eventually find a godly man to marry. Her immediate dilemma seems to be choosing one of the dynamic men vying for her heart.

Julie Lessman, the talented author, takes both her readers and sweet Marcy on a roller coaster ride all through the novelright to the finish line. What a great story! If you like romantic tension in your romance reading, you will love this book as much as I do.
