Detective Robert Hunter of the LAPD's Homicide Special Section receives an anonymous call asking him to go to a specific web address - a private broadcast. Hunter logs on and a show devised for his eyes only immediately begins. But the caller doesn't want Detective Hunter to just watch, he wants him to participate, and refusal is simply not an option.

Chris Carter has done it again. Scared the daylight out of me! If you do not like horror or graphic gore, this is not a book for you. Just when you think Carter has gone beyond horrible, he has proved once again that he is unpredictable. He seems to have scared Hunter's partner, Garcia, also. I now need to read the next book in order to find out if Garcia will be back for more. I doubt it as Garcia is a family man and needs to make sure his wife, Anna, is protected from his job of horrors. I would highly recommend this series to those who love horror but I will have to leave a warning on this book. BEWARE!
