The first in a new trilogy from Heather Graham. The next two books are: GHOST NIGHT and GHOST MOON.
This one takes place in Key West. It's an area rich in stories of ghosts, pirates and eccentrics. Add a new one to the list. She's Katie O'Hara. She's young, Irish, an entrepreneur and she can see and talk to ghosts.
People have been murdered around Key West. But no clues are left at the scene and the cops can't figure out why. Then the holidays are starting up, bunches of tourists are in town, and bodies are still showing up.
Katie is an interesting character. A ghost named Bartholomew is particularly amusing and he likes to "guard" Katie. Things become strange when Katie becomes lovers with David...another Key West native and a "person of interest" in the investigation of a murder 10 years before meeting Katie.
All in all, it's an interesting story. I'm looking forward to the next two books.
