Surprisingly, Arabian horses often have one less vertebrae than other horses. They are known for their stamina and endurance. They come from the desert sands of Arabia and are highly valued horses. Under their hair, they are black-skinned, which helps protect them from the sun.

Although most horses live between 20 and 40 years, the oldest Arabian was 46 years old when he died. Arabians are considered to be a smaller breed of horses. They make great pets but need lots of land. This is an engaging book about a popular horse breed.
