Published in 1996, so it's not exactly cutting-edge, this is nonetheless a valuable reference work for Web basics. Covers HTML to 3.2 (no CSS!), CGI, early JavaScript, HTTP 1.1, Perl 5, WinCGI, and configuration for Apache, NCSA, CERN, Netscape, and WebSite servers.
