A classic, a delight - well worth reading. If you are a James Thurber fan you'll love this book. If you don't know about James Thurber - you're missing out on a reading treat. Often described as a humorist, James Thurber wrote several decades back becomming an American icon. He portrayed life in America as only a philosopher who can't help giggling could. This story is about a princess, a wicked uncle, a prince disquised as a minstrel, a Golux (non-describable but most familiar), and a daring quest.
