flowers-and-flour - , reviewed on
This is a really nice book. The author takes the time to explain the fundamentals of brownie baking so even the beginner can create a great brownie. There are many different recipes in this book which are arranged into different categories such as basic (which has a dozen delicious basic chocolate brownie recipes), nuts, fruit, "healthful", to some wonderfully decadent creations. Nicely put together and each recipe is easily understood. No matter if you are a beginner or the more ambitious brownie baker, you can find great recipes to try in this book.
One more thing worth mentioning: This book is full of GOOD recipes, there are NO wierd ones - no cayenne pepper, rosemary, bacon, or other things that do not belong in a real brownie.
