One of a series about Bonnie Indermill. Bonnie is a 30-something single woman in New York City who does various kinds of office work--managing a lawyer's office, temping, etc. Bonnie tells the stories in first person, and she reminds me a bit of Grafton's Kinsey Milhone (not quite as complex as Kinsey and Bonnie is an amateur, not a p.i.). Berry does a great job of portraying office politics, relationships between women working together, etc. with a lot of humor. If you've ever worked in an office, you'll recognize many of her characters!
