I made it through the book. It was a little boring. There wasn't really any dramatic tension between the main characters. I guess it was supposed to be that neither would admit to the other that they were in love, but since they admitted it to the reader, since they treated each other with love despite the lack of words, it wasn't very...tense. I also thought the author included a bunch of "clues" that were unresolved. This doesn't give anything away - There is a scar on the main character's doppelganger and later in the book they're talking about how to keep track of the heir, if twins are born the heir is marked, like with a scar, to make sure there is no confusion about it. You'd THINK this is a clue about the villain with the scar who looks exactly like the hero. NOPE. Just random information that relates to nothing. Was Howell trying for a red herring or was it just an accident? There were other things that seemed like "clues" only to be totally random and never resolved.
