The book was entertaining but badly written. The plot was very strangely paced- for example, a major problem was introduced with only a few chapters left in the book. It almost seemed as if the author ran out of time toward the end. More irritating was the extremely implausible, tacked on, resolution of said problem- left me wondering why the subplot was included in the first place.
That said, I finished the book and would read more of her books because the characters and settings are fun to read about.
