SPEAR operative Alicia "Ally" Corbin has been given her next assignment. She must persuade former SPEAR operative Easton Kirby to come back into the fold and help their mysterious boss, Jonah, find out who is trying to ruin him. East is done with the spy game and has no intention of going back, even if the tempting Ally would be his partner in the field. But when East learns that his son has been kidnapped by the same person who is threatening Jonah, he and Ally must work to rescue Jeff before he becomes a casualty in this war.

This is the first book in a multi-author series called "A Year of Living Dangerously". This book gets the series off to a good start. I enjoyed seeing East and Ally working together to figure out where Jeff was being held. My rating: 4 Stars.
