While I am completely sympathetic to the loss this poor guy has suffered, this is quite possibly the worst book I have ever read.
Vulgarity has it's place, but the author's overuse of the 'F' word is unnecessary and detracts from the story. It seemed to be on every page and he even cusses while sharing the good times he had with his wife.
What might have been a helpful book for others who have experienced similar loss, instead came across as a book about a very self-centered man who is mad at the world and feels he is owed something.
I felt he left me no room to feel sorry for him because he's doing such a great job of feeling sorry for himself. I do, however, feel sorry for his daughter if this is how he is all of the time.
