The first volume of the Mark Twain Papers, edited and printed by a clever marshaling of several funds and foundations. I only glanced at it but it is well organized, with appropriate footnotes. UCBerkeley received the papers from Clara upon her death in 1962. Very useful appendixes. This copy is from then fifth printing so this tome sold well.
Excellent index.
Although there are 75 wishes, sadly I am not going to lay out two bits to buy it from the branch library sale truck today because I am in bad shape and it would be heavy to carry on the bus (and to mail). I am going to buy five other books wish listed by PBS comrades. Soory.
