This is not a stand-alone book, so be sure to read "You Slay Me" and "All Fired Up" first. This is the third book in the
Aisling Grey Guardian series by Katie MacAlister.
As usual, Aisling finds herself ignorantly blundering through various difficulties, while maintaining her usual innocent
charm. Aisling suffers a bit from being a damsel in distress more often than not. The problems Aisling gets into with the
demon princes and with the dragons were interesting. Drake is irritating with his need to control her; but in this book that
is tempered some and we see Drake gaining some humanity. Aisling and Drake actually start to have a decent relationship
with each other. There are a lot of sex scenes but they are creative and tastefully done. I am actually very excited to
read the next book.
If you liked the first two books, this book shouldn't disappoint. All-in-all, the book was as fun and humorous as the first
two. If you want something that is light and entertaining then you will enjoy this, especially if you have enjoyed the
first two installments of the series. However, if you are looking for a story that is deep and thought provoking, this is
NOT the book for you.
