This is the 3rd in this series, and I hope that there is more books to come.
Emma Whitecastle is on another ghost hunt. I think I liked this mystery most of all, because it was based on real history. I dont want to give it all away, because the story line and real history isnt discovered until later in the story.
But it is about a haunted ring, that causes the owners to commit suicide. Emma helps the ghost who haunts it to find peace. We do get to travel to Pennslyvania, but I wont mention which town. I just loved the story line.
I also like the direction Emma's personal life is taking. I cant say I am all that thrilled with her current love life, it seems kinda bland, so enter a possible new love interest, who is a better version of Indiana Jones. And guess what, he doesnt turn out to be the bad guy who dupes our main character as we often see in these cozy mysteries. But at the same time I wonder why her personal life is now shifting to add another possible suitor. Did readers complain that it was too bland?
I also had some trouble with the idea that ghosts can murder people.
Oh bring on book 4 so we can see what happens.
