Bren is a first year empty nester and she and her husband are trying to navigate no kids at home. She begins teaching a cooking class and the cranky old lady who lives above the school has it out for them. So the women in the class decide to give her 100 gifts. Near the end cranky old lady is still cranky but she joins in on the class and they learn her story that she was really just lonely. The women in the class all form a bond. Was slow in parts, but ok.
