The story of Wesley the owl was unbelievable for so many reasons. It was fascinating, bizarre, ridiculous, heart-warming, and totally gross! The fact that a woman dedicated twenty whole years to a bird is remarkable. And strange. This bird affected her life in every possible way, and even though I'm all for the protection and conservation of animals, I thought it was a little much! But, it was very interesting to learn about owls - so much I didn't know. Anyone who loves animals will really enjoy this book.
