This was the authors first adult book.This book was okay it had a lot of tragedy, heartache
and at times it was funny.When I started reading the book I wasnt so sure I was going to like it because after Eves husband leaves her and her children she does nothing but wallow in self pity.After half way through the book I started liking the book You could relate to Eve with her elderly mom.You could relate to Eve and her children.You will find the ending a great surprise which turns out a happy ending.After your done reading the book you will still be thinking of Eve and her family.This was a fast read I read it in 2 and a half days.
