The author is really Amish and this story is based on her life. When is it love, her Uncle chides her for her letting a young man fall in love with her, and Lizzie is unaware. He talks to Lizzie but she is not sure is she loves him or is following God's prompting. This is a fun story.I had hard time putting it down. Lizzie's parents allowed their children to do a lot of fun things that I would not expect Amish to allow.
