* * ½*. Sci-fi. Sometime in the future the world's electronic equipments begin to think for themselves and slowly begin to annihalate the human race, escalating in the man-vs-machine war.
Soon to be "a Steven Spielberg film". This is not your Daddy's Terminator. Though the premise sounds all too familiar, Wilson puts a fresh spin on this story to keep it fresh. Told through the eyes of different characters, the story advances in spurts. The confrontations are bloody, bordering on the horrific.
The jumps in narrative and points of view didn't allow me to invest too much in the characters. But there are still some unforgettable unsettling scenes.
