I really enjoyed the story and premise of this book...by the end, though, the author's style of comparing everything to something else got tiresome. (like light through trees, like feathers on her skin, like the air after a rain). Characters have uber poetic names (Claire, Ian, Lillian) that the narrator pronounced artistically, as though she were performing the book. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable from start to finish.
