Poirot, who is always seasick and airsick, takes a boat trip to the Nile River. Why?, you say: because one of the voyagers will be murdered, of course. He must be on hand to puzzle-out and to outwit the culprit in his own inimitably fashion. Would you expect local enforcement to be capable? Hardly! They rarely are in detective literature. It is always the sleuth who is competent. And solve it he does.
