While this is an exciting second installment picking up where 5th Wave left off, I feel some ambiguity toward this book. For one thing, the arguing among this group and the attitude of Cassie in the beginning bothered me. Fortunately, much of this book is told from different perspectives besides Cassie (mostly Ringer). Then, I am left with questions and not quite clear on what The Others are doing and why? Maybe that is to be expected since there is a 3rd installment. The last thing is (without a spoiler) What about Teacup???!!! Really???!!! Well, I must read the 3rd, but I need some questions answered, Mr. Yancey.
