This is a wonderful book. It is described as kind of a "To Kill a Mockingbird" type story and the innocence and differing viewpoint are there. The author does a good job of conveying what life must seem like to someone who's "special." (SPOILER ALERT) The ending is sad but beautiful at the same time. This was my first Robert Whitlow book and I'll definitely read others!
