This 12th in series is OK (3.5 stars) although there seems to be too much going on to really flesh out both story lines the one with the victims of the ship going aground and the other involving the disappearance of the congressmans mistress. I do like the interplay between the characters but sometimes the narrative and dialog seems more like a lecture than actual conversation. I usually learn something new with every book, especially the historical background in this case with the mansions and Federalists from Revolutionary times. Ill read the next as I am a fan.
