I like Loretta Chase's books even if I found some are a bit slow at the beginning and sometime a bit formulaic, are nevertheless an enjoyable read for lovers of romance.
Her writing is quite good,witty and humorous without being pretentious, her heroes and heroines likeable quite human without being too modern, the background history believable, the sensual scenes are tasteful and part of the story without becoming the story.
"Last Night's Scandal " has been my favorite so far, but you'll have to read "Lord Perfect" first to truly appreciate it.
