Fifteen years ago, Cassandra Martin was murdered by a serial killer named Dr. X. Her best friend, Abigail Winthrop, is a journalist who has decided to write a story about Cass. But when she is digging through a copy of the police file on the murder, Abby uncovers evidence that proves Dr. X did not kill Cass. Abby turns to her former neighbor, FBI Special Agent Paul Harrison, for help. After learning about the evidence, Paula and Abby know the killer is still out there.

This romantic suspense story started off strong and didn't leave up. The mystery kept me guessing. I also enjoyed the friends to lovers romance. My rating: 4 Stars.
