Helene Tursten is an amazingly skilled crime writer. The Inspector Huss series has started off with first-rate entries that are engrossing and well-plotted with expertly drawn, very believable characters. I gave the first book in the series five stars which is very rare for me. I downgraded this one to 4.5 for two reasons. It was translated by a different person and I preferred the translation of the first book and I thought this crime was less intriguing than the first one. I am, however, looking forward to more meetings with this very talented author.
