I enjoyed this book very much, it was very well written, the story line was good & kept a reader wanting to see what came next for this group of characters. Although it left me wondering if Margaret ever returned to civilization & did Ned ever see his child. I found Tolley fun but I have my doubts that in 1932 a man would be that openly sharing with anyone & everyone about his sexual preference of men. Even with these questions over all it is a very good book.
