Not the best book by Debbie Macomber. I would skip it unless you are a fan and wants to read everything she has ever written.
"Norah" was so bad I didn't finish it. My problem was really with Norah herself. I hated her character. Any nurse who would deal with a difficult patient by drugging him against his will is unethical and should be fired. Talk about a god complex. I tried to read more after that but it was more of the same thing where she bullies Rowdy while he is down. I just can't justify those actions. Threatening to hold a patient down when he probably already perceives himself as helpless and weak has to be one of the worse things anyone can do. So I couldn't force myself to read anymore because Norah is a horrible person.
"Lone Star Lovin' " was a cuter story with some sweet characters. It wasn't the best story and there was a time where it dragged a bit but I forced myself to get over that little hump. It was nice and Cody was such an idiot that you have to love him. I actually like Sherry quite a bit. I also have to be thankful that Macomber didn't do the typical stressful birth birth scene. This one was rather nice and serene.
So this one was somewhat of a disappointment. Definitely not a "must-read."
