I enjoy most of Ms. Hohl books, but this one not as much. It's an older work, and well used concept.
Frisco chooses to make the sacrifice to save her father and her family's business by marrying the suitor who is intent on taking over the business. They are both attracted to each other, so the choice is not very hard. But dealing with their pride takes a lot of effort for both, and I found it tiring.
